The Counting¹⁰ Frame an outgrowth of the work started some two years ago at Startup Weekend EDU Los Angeles, a gathering of educational innovators who came together to share ideas and launch startups

We have continued to develop solutions that teach the keys to learning math, beginning with Base 10 concepts to our present efforts with the Counting¹⁰ Frame.

An early and solid understanding of Base 10 concepts can lead to mathematical success in later years.  Without a solid understanding of Base 10 concepts, students quickly fall behind.

Ten Counting Frames are an enjoyable way for young children to build number and operations sense in the context of play.

Working with Ten Counting Frames children can visualize numbers less than or equal to 10, understand addition and  subtraction to 10, and gain a foundation for place-value learning.
